Our Investment in People & Technology
A message from our CEO, Luke Hammill
Welcome to our company, where we believe that investing in our staff is the key to achieving excellence. Our highly skilled team is our biggest asset, and we are committed to ensuring that they receive the best training and development opportunities available.
To achieve this, we have developed a tailored training and development plan for each team member, which is reviewed every six months. We recognize that without our staff, we could not achieve what we do, and that’s why we invested £25k in independent training last year.
In addition to investing in our staff, we also invest in the latest equipment to ensure that we can provide the best service possible. Our brand new Easylift R180 Spider Mewp is a game-changing investment, enabling us to reach areas where other companies simply cannot. With a working height of 20m and out reach of 9m, we can significantly reduce climbing hours in tree canopies, making tree surgery safer and more efficient.
At the end of 2022, we purchased our first 14-tonne Arb Digger to reduce hire costs that are typically passed on to the client. This machine comes with a wide range of attachments, from tree shears to forestry fixed mulching heads, and it improves productivity while reducing manual handling on site.
Finally, our RoboEvo tracked robotic flail is a versatile machine that makes light work of any overgrown vegetation. This machine can be applied to multiple applications, from highways to historic sites. What sets the RoboEvo apart is that we are removing operatives from working on unsafe terrain, making the job safer and more cost- effective.
Over the last seven years, we have invested around £4 million in equipment and training, and we are committed to continuing to invest in the future to provide the best service possible for our clients.
